Hot on the heels of the Internet Gambling and Regulation Enforcement Act recently introduced in the House of Representatives by Barney Frank comes a related bill, the Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative. The SASIGI was introduced by Washington State Congressman Jim McDermott and proposes a 2 percent tax on poker deposits to online poker rooms.
